Friday, August 16, 2019 | 11:23 AM
Where’d You Go, Bernadette? an “addictively entertaining” film includes Osborne Elementary students of music teacher Steven Donnelly, many more local extras in scenes created around the Pittsburgh area, including New Kensington and Monroeville. The 31st Street Studios in Pittsburgh’s Strip District served as the headquarters for the Pittsburgh operations. While the film screens at noon, 2;30 and 5:00 today, the Red Carpet Celebration recognizing all those who worked on the film kicks off at 7:00 p.m., followed by the film screening at 7:30 p.m.
The local crews and stars hope you join them at the Theater for this paparazzi-filled event.
A few tickets are still available for tonight; all those affiliated with the film and their guests receive the discounted (children’s) ticket price of $8.75 for the 7:30 p.m. screening.
Besides seeing your friends, neighbors and students onscreen, you’ll also be watching Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig and Laurence Fishburne. As the LA Times says, “‘Where’d You Go, Bernadette’ works with a splendid Cate Blanchett at its center.” See for yourself–and enjoy some Red Carpet bliss along the way!
