Sewickley Area Libraries (SAL) welcomes author Candace Fleming – February 10 and 11, 2020

Candace Fleming is the versatile and acclaimed author of more than forty books for children and young adults, including the Los Angeles Times Book Prize honored The Family Romanov: Murder, Rebellion, and the Fall of the Russian Empire; the Boston Globe/Horn Book Award-winning biography, The Lincolns; the bestselling picture book, Muncha! Muncha! Muncha!; the Sibert-Award-winning Giant Squid; and the beloved Boxes for Katje.
Candace will be visiting with students at Edgeworth and Osborne Elementary Schools on February 10 and will appear at the Sewickley Public Library in the evening from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. On February 11th,  she will visit the students at Sewickley Academy Lower School and St. James School and will autograph books at Penguin Bookshop in the afternoon.

When placing online orders, indicate your child’s name and school in “Order Comments”, so books may be delivered once signed.  Please order no later than February 3 to ensure your child receives the book of their choice.
Sewickley Area Libraries (SAL) is a collaborative organization which provides programming for our school libraries, public library and local independent bookstore in the Quaker Valley, Sewickley Academy and St. James schools, the Sewickley Public Library and Penguin Bookshop.
