Jack Scott, a junior at Quaker Valley High School completed his sophomore SLD (Student Directed Learning) project on the Teutonia Mannerchor.

The Teutonia Mannerchor is Pittsburgh’s oldest club and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Jacks model was scratch built but taking photos, enlarging the photos, using balsa and card stock, and assembling it.

The project came full circle when the model was donated to the club on August 1st at the member meeting.  Jack gave a quick presentation on the model and was available for questions.
