The Sewickley Public Library announced expanded access to it’s collection of online magazines.
Allegheny County library card holders now have access to an all-new, revamped version of magazines from OverDrive. Available through an app or via your web browser, library users can access 50 popular magazine titles to check out digitally on their devices simply by using their library card. Titles include: HGTV Magazine, Popular Science, Newsweek, ESPN Magazine, Food Network, Taste of Home, and many more.
OverDrive is a one-stop-shop for digital content. Seamlessly check out your ebooks, audio and magazines all in one place! As an added bonus, magazines are always available with no wait times and they do not count against your checkout limits.
Users also have access to great digital magazines from Flipster, another easy-to-use service provided for free from the library. Flipster offers over 70 titles, including Time, People, and Real Simple magazines.
Additionally, library patrons now have free access to Consumer Reports online with their library card. Library users have direct access to buying guides, product reviews, and product ratings reports.
Visit the library’s website at www.sewickleylibrary.org for access to all of these digital collections and more. If users need help getting started accessing any of the library’s online resources, they can always stop by the Reference Department at the library for assistance or call the library at 412-741-6920.
