It’s a Wonderful Life, one of the most enduring and endearing holiday films, arrives at The Tull Family Theater on Sunday, Dec. 23 (reserved seats) and Monday, Dec. 24, at 11:30 a.m. The perennial favorite stars Indiana, Pa.’s own Jimmy Stewart as the man questioning the value and impact of his life in little Bedford Falls. Donna Reed is his nearly perfect wife and Lionel Barrymore the absolutely conniving Mr. Potter.

The Frank Capra films captures ups, downs and insights in a way that has warmed hearts for generations. Nominated for five Oscars but falling short of any wins, this engaging picture remains in the Top 25 Movies of All Time.

“What is remarkable about It’s a Wonderful Life is how well it holds up over the years;” says RogerEbert.com. “Some movies, even good ones, should only be seen once. When we know how they turn out, they’ve surrendered their mystery and appeal. Other movies can be viewed an indefinite number of times. Like great music, they improve with familiarity. It’s a Wonderful Life falls in the second category.”
