Golden Film: Green Book to open at The Tull Family Theater

Green Book (PG-13), the winningest film at the Golden Globes, snatched three statues and positions itself for the upcoming Oscars. The film based on a life story will open at The Tull Family Theater on Friday, Jan. 11. Critics have praised the interplay between Mahershala Ali, in the role of Jamaican-American classical pianist Don Shirley, and his working class Italian-American driver, portrayed by Viggo Mortensen,  as the musician tours the South in the the 1960s.

Also at the Theater: fellow Golden Globe winner Vice, with Christian Bale, Best Actor in his category, leading a powerful cast in a biopic of historic proportions. 

The next few days offer the last chances to watch  Mary Poppins Returns (PG) on its star-studded run ending Thursday, Jan. 10.
