Conversations That Connect: The Fortnite Phenomenon
Tuesday, November 20, 2018 | 11:02 AM
What is Fortnite? Why does my child like it so much and how can I promote a balance between gaming and other activities?
Join five Sewickley Academy faculty members with knowledge about this powerful online video game—it’s fun aspects and addictive qualities. They will share information on how the game is played, why is it so attractive to students as young as Grade 2 through high school and beyond, and provide some cautions for players and parents.
Presenters: Sewickley Academy Faculty
Date: Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Location: Sewickley Academy’s Boyd Room in the Hansen Library
Intended Audience: Parents, educators, and anyone who works with young people
