Conversations that Connect: Social Media 101

Thursday, January 10, 2019 | 11:38 AM

Mr. Phillip Little, Educational Outreach Specialist from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, will provide an overview of the social media young people are using today and share tips on how to help children navigate it safely and responsibly.

The media is replete with stories about kids experiencing harassment, bullying, and predatory targeting in the cyber world. Parents and educators play a critical role in protecting children from these dangers. Knowledge is power, so come and learn from Mr. Little about topics such as password sharing, privacy protection, features of commonly used apps, and ghost apps.
