The Goonies (PG) takes you back to 1985, when a a group of kids stumble onto buried pirate treasure, a band of desperados and all sorts of adventures. The Tull Family Theater will have 3 showings: Monday, June 10, at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, June 12, and Sunday, June 16, at high noon.
“…The kind of hyperactive peril movie an audience can’t resist,” the New York Daily News says.

The setting is “a slightly ramshackle neighborhood threatened with foreclosure and redevelopment,” says Common Sense Media. A group of motley local kids (“Goonies”) finds a treasure map and clues to the legendary loot of a 17th-century pirate—and the money could save their homes. But desperate outlaws stand between them and the treasure. Steven Spielberg is the writer on this family favorite, and there’s “not just a thrill a minute; there’s a thrill, a laugh, a shock and a special effect,” says Ebert.com.
