• Sweetwater Center for the Arts will hold an Open House from noon to 3 p.m. as a part of the Allegheny Regional Asset District’s RADical Days. Those who attend can experiment in culinary arts, ceramics, painting and more. Children 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Registration is requested by visiting sweetwaterartcenter.org.

• St. Andrew’s Presbyterian will hold a pet blessing and memorial service from 3 to 6 p.m. All well-behaved, leashed or crated pets are welcome. The memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Photos or mementos of pets who recently passed away are welcome. For more information, visit standrews801.com.

• Grace Church in Edgeworth will host the second annual St. Francis Festival from 4 to 6 p.m. The free neighborhood festival for families and their pets will include food, kid’s games and crafts, a bounce house, music and more. For more information, visit www.edgeworth anglican.com.

• St. Brendan’s Episcopal, Franklin Park, will hold the annual Blessing of the Animals at 11:30 a.m. All are invited to bring their dogs, cats and other pets to the church for a special blessing. Experts will provide animal health and nutrition information and owners can receive a free photo of their pets.
