New climbers and slides installed at Quaker Heights Park

Quaker Heights Park in Leet has gotten a facelift just in time for summer.

Leet officials approved a $10,000 playground climber to replace aging equipment, Manager Betsy Rengers said.

The bright green climbing wall and slide sit near the swing set, not too far from the park's gazebo. The township's public works department installed the unit in late May. Rengers said the cost was included in the 2018 budget.

The park is along Camp Meeting Road.
