Here’s what’s happening around town: Wednesday, June 12

Hello, Sewickley,

The Tull Family Theater’s series of sensory friendly screenings continues with the first two of the summer’s highly anticipated animations: “The Secret Life of Pets 2” at 10 a.m. Saturday, and “Toy Story 4” at a time to be announced on June 29.

Parking, available in a municipal lot next to the theater or on the street, is free on Saturdays.

The A.J. and Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust, the Thomas Marshall Foundation, Sewickley Valley Community Fund and Lincoln Learning Solutions support these screenings.

Families have shared with theater staff that the screenings have provided the first opportunity for all members to enjoy the cinema together and the first option for some teens to experience the cinema.

Tickets are $11 for general admission; $8.75 for groups of 10 or more, children 10 or younger, seniors 65 or older, and college and military with ID
