Sewickley Public Library is seeking new members for its Teen Advisory Council.

The council will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at the library, 500 Thorn St. Members in grades six through 12 are needed to plan programs and have a direct say in what happens at the library. Participation counts as one hour of volunteering time. Pizza, snacks and drinks are served at each meeting.

Sweetwater Center for the Art s will have its 24th annual Holiday mART from noon to 8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays Nov. 27 to Dec. 9 at the center, 200 Broad St.

The Heritage Valley Health System Jingle and Mingle Preview Party will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 24. Hors d’oeuvers and wine will be served and guests will have an exclusive first glimpse and chance to buy finely crafted artisan-made gifts.

Tickets are $35 and $30 for members in advance; and $40 at the door.
